Pelita Air Service, also known as Pelita Air and PAS, is a domestic airline based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Pelita Air Service began over 50 years ago in 1970 operating to over 10 domestic destinations. Pelita Air has been listed in Category 1 by the Indonesian Civil Aviation Authority for its airline safety quality. Its main hub is based at Pondok Cabe Airport and its secondary hub is at Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport.

As well as operating commercial scheduled flights, the airport is also used for military, private and presidential purposes. In 2016, Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport had about 5.6 million passengers.
The airport is relatively small as it only has one passenger terminal and is about 10,000 square metres. This terminal operates all departing and arriving flights. The airport also has a presidential terminal, the terminal is used by the President of the Republic of Indonesia and other VVIPs.
