Pegasus Asia currently uses the Air Manas name today and is still shared by Air Manas and Pegasus Airlines as a joint partnership.
Pegasus Asia was a Kyrgyzstan airline which is now known as Air Manas. It used a low-cost model based on that used by its parent company, Pegasus Airlines of Turkey. The airline is also owned by the charter airline, Air Manas.
The airline operated as Pegasus Asia from 2015—2017, as a joint venture between Pegasus Airlines and the old Air Manas. Pegasus Airlines operated a fleet of 47 aircraft and carried nearly 20 million passengers in 2014. Based in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan at Manas International Airport, Pegasus Asia flew to: India Delhi Kyrgyzstan Osh - Osh Airport Russia Chelyabinsk Krasnoyarsk Moscow Novosibirsk Perm Yekaterinburg Turkey Istanbul.
As Pegasus Asia, the airline connected Central Asia with Europe, the Middle East, Russia and the Far East.
Pegasus Asia decided to rebrand as Air Manas to give itself a unique identity independent from its parent airline, Pegasus Airlines. As Air Manas only offered charter services at the time that Pegasus Asia took its name, the two airlines felt that Air Manas was enough of a name to give the airline credibility, but not too much that it wouldn't have its own identity in the public eye.
