Kyrgyz Airlines, also known as Avia Traffic Company, is the national airline of Kyrgyzstan, a county in Central Asia. The airline is based in Bishkek, the capital city of Kyrgyzstan. It operates both domestic and international flights to destinations in Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
The airline was founded in 1992 and currently uses Manas International Airport as its hub. In 2005, the airline was privatised and rebranded to Avia Traffic Company.
Kyrgyz Airlines has different baggage policies for carry-on and checked baggage.
If you're flying in Economy Class, you're permitted one piece of carry-on baggage that must not weigh more than 5 kg or exceed the maximum dimensions of 55 x 40 x 20 cm.
You are allowed two pieces of carry-on baggage if you're flying in Business Class. The total maximum weight of 15 kg must not be exceed and each bag must not be larger than 55 x 40 x 20 cm.
One personal item is allowed too such as a small backpack, a laptop bag or a purse.
With your Economy Class ticket, you're allowed one piece of checked baggage not weighing more than 20 kg and exceeding linear dimensions of 158 cm (length + width + height).
Business Class passengers are permitted up to two pieces of checked baggage, each weighing no more than 20 kg. Each bag cannot be larger than the linear dimensions of 158 cm (length + width + height).
Kyrgyz Airlines only offers two cabin classes - Economy and Business. Economy Class provides a basic level of service whilst Business Class offers additional amenities such as more comfortable seats, priority check-in and boarding as well as exclusive access to airport lounges.
Kyrgyz Airlines provides a range of movies, TV shows and music for in-flight entertainment. These can be accessed via personal seat-back screens for Business Class passengers. Economy Class passengers can view in-flight entertainment via shared screens.
The airline doesn't currently have Wi-Fi available onboard its flights.
Meals and snacks are offered on all Kyrgyz Airlines flights, however, the options available will vary depending on the duration of your flight and your destination. Special meals, such as vegetarian or halal meals, can be requested in advance.

Passengers can check-in for flights with Kyrgyz Airlines online - this can be done via the Avia Traffic Company website. Online check-in is open 24 hours before the scheduled flight departure and closes 1 hour before takeoff for domestic flights and 2 hours before departure for international flights.
Airport check-in is available for flights with Kyrgyz Airlines. It's recommended that you arrive at the airport at least 2-3 hours before your flight departs to allow enough time to check-in, clear security and reach your boarding gate.
