Which airlines fly within Myanmar?
The following is a list of the airlines that currently operate domestic flights within Myanmar — a country in Southeast Asia which is officially called the Republic of the Union of Myanmar (previously Burma).
Myanmar National Airlines is the national flag carrier and state-owned airline carrier of Myanmar, based in Yangon (Yangon International Airport). The airline operates to the most extensive list of destinations within the country, flying between cities including Mandalay, Naypyidaw, and Taunggyi.
Golden Myanmar Airlines a domestic airline based at Mandalay International Airport. The airline operates to over 10 domestic destinations: Putao, Mandalay, Myitkyina, Nyaung U, Thandwe, Sittwe, Tachileik, Lashio, Dawei, Heho, and Kawthaung.
Air KBZ is a private domestic airline based at Yangon International Airport, near the capital city of Myanmar. Air KBZ flies to around 20 destinations in the country: Bagan, Banmaw, Heho, Kalaymyo, Kawthaung, Kengtung, Lashio, Mandalay, Mergui, Myeik, Myitkyina, Putao, Sittwe, Dawei, Tachilek, Thandwe, and Yangon.
