How to cancel a Qatar Airways flight at Alternative Airlines
Need to cancel Qatar Airways flights? If you booked your Qatar Airways flights through Alternative Airlines and wish to cancel, you can do this through the Manage My Book portal or contact our Customer Service team who will be happy to assist you.
1. Self-service flight cancellation via 'Manage my booking'
You can sign in online via 'Manage My Booking' using your booking reference. Once you're signed in, you can easily cancel your Qatar Airways flights. We'll show you the total refund you're entitled to based on the airline's fare rules before you proceed to cancel your flights.
- If you applied Cancel For Any Reason to your booking, you can activate this to cancel Qatar Airways flights for any reason and get 70% of your money back after 30 days. Cancel For Any Reason is available in Manage My Book until 48 hours before the flight is scheduled to depart.
- If you applied Cancellation Protection to your booking, you will only be able to get a full refund if you have to cancel Qatar Airways tickets for emergency reasons. Claim your refund here.

Can you cancel a Qatar Airways flight within 24 hours?

If you booked your Qatar Airways flights with Alternative Airlines and need to cancel within the first 24 hours, you will need to contact us as soon as possible.
We need enough time to receive your cancellation request and process your refund for your Qatar Airways flights. Please be aware that if you contact us outside of business hours to cancel your Qatar Airways flights and the 24-hour window has elapsed by the time we have received your refund request, we may not be able to honour the 24-hour cancellation policy as Qatar Airways may not allow us to issue the refund.
You must contact us between 9am - 8pm UK time if you wish to cancel your Qatar Airways booking within the 24-hour cancellation window and receive a refund.

- With Qatar Airways flights booked through Alternative Airlines, cancellation requests can be made via the Manage My Booking portal or by contacting our Customer Service team who can help you through the process.
- For Qatar Airways bookings with the Cancellation Protection add-on, you can cancel and get a full refund as long as your reason for cancelling is due to an emergency (e.g., death or serious illness, mechanical breakdowns, home emergencies, etc).
- For Qatar Airways bookings with the Cancel For Any Reason add-on, you can cancel for any reason up until 48 hours before departure and get 70% of the total booking cost refunded to you after 30 days.
How do I request a refund for a Qatar Airways flight?

If you have a feeling your travel plans might change or be disrupted, you can add Cancel For Any Reason cover during the booking process of your Qatar Airways flights. Once this is activated, you're entitled to a 70% refund after 30 days, no questions asked. This will only be available up until 48 hours before departure.
Get a refund from a refundable Qatar Airways ticket:
If you booked a refundable ticket for your Qatar Airways flights and wish to cancel, you'll be eligible for a refund minus any cancellation fees needed to process that refund. A non-refundable ticket won't be eligible for a refund.
What is Qatar Airways' cancellation policy?
