If you booked your Delta flights through us at Alternative Airlines and wish to cancel your flights, you can do so through the Manage My Booking portal or contact our supportive Customer Service team.
Sign in online via 'Manage my booking' using your booking reference. With just a few clicks, you can quickly and easily cancel your Delta Air Lines flights. Before you choose to proceed with your cancellation, we'll display the total refund that you'll be entitled to, based on the fare rules of your airline.
Note that many flight tickets are non-refundable, as per the airline's terms and conditions.
You can also contact us through our contact page and we'll explain to you the policy of your airline/ticket and whether you can get any money back.
You can easily get a full or partial refund when you cancel your Delta flight if you already added either our Cancellation Protection product during the booking process at Alternative Airlines. You can also be eligible for a refund if you purchased a refundable Delta ticket.
A refundable Delta flight ticket permits you to receive a refund before departure and will only cost you a cancellation fee. You can book refundable Delta flight tickets using Alternative Airlines on our flight search. To see if your Delta ticket is refundable, you can read the fare rules in the booking process before checkout.
To protect your Delta flights, you can add Cancellation Protection to your booking for a small fee. Cancellation Protection lets you receive a full refund if you have to cancel Delta flights due to emergency circumstances such as illness, death, flight disruptions or mechanical breakdowns. Delta's cancellation policy states that you're qualified for a complete refund if you cancel your flight within 24 hours of purchasing your Delta Air Lines flight ticket. This is referred to as a 24-hour refund policy. If you booked a Delta Air Lines flight ticket with Alternative Airlines then you can cancel within 24 hours of your purchase, but, there are some important things that you need to know.
Please note that if you contact us outside of business hours to cancel your Delta Air Lines flight and the 24-hour window has elapsed by the time we've received your refund request, we may not be able to honour the 24-hour cancellation policy as Delta won't allow us to issue the refund.
Please ensure you contact us between 9am - 8pm UK time if you wish to cancel your Delta booking within the 24-hour cancellation window and receive a refund.

Get a full refund through Cancellation Protection:
You can request a refund for your Delta flight cancellation if you purchased Cancellation Protection, through the 'Claim Your Refund' page. You must prove that you were not able to fly due to an emergency circumstance. You can also contact us, to claim a refund.
Get a refund from a refundable Delta ticket:
If you have purchased a refundable Delta flight and wish to cancel, you will receive a refund minus any cancellation fees to process the refund. If you have purchased a non-refundable flight you will not be entitled to a refund.
If you cancel your Delta flights within 24 hours of the original booking then you'll get a full refund for your flight. You won't be entitled to a complete refund after the 24-hour period has passed.
For bookings made through Alternative Airlines, we advise that you cancel your Delta Air Lines flight ticket through us during our opening hours (9am - 8pm GMT) so that we can offer a full refund if you do so within Delta's 24-hour cancellation policy window.
If you contact us after business hours, we might not get your refund request and the 24-hour window might have passed, in which case we won't be able to honour the 24-hour refund policy.
