Tradewind Aviation is a US airline that flies scheduled passenger, private charter and shared charter flights. The airline has a base in the US (White Plains, New York) and a base in the Caribbean (San Juan, Puerto Rico) and offers flights to several destinations within the Northeast of the US and to different Caribbean islands.
The airline was founded in 2001, initially flying only charter flights. In 2006, the airline began flying scheduled flights, with services between the US and the Caribbean, shortly followed by scheduled flights flying between destinations within the two areas.
Tradewind Aviation Shuttle is the name that the airline uses fo its domestic flights. Tradewind Aviation shuttle flights offer the comfort and convenience of a private charter for the cost of a single seat. In the U.S., scheduled Shuttle flights are operated from the New York area to Boston, Stowe, Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard and depart from private charter FBO terminals. In the Caribbean, Shuttle flights are operated between San Juan, St Barths, Anguilla, Nevis, Antigua and St Thomas.
Each passenger is given a free baggage allowance of 23 kg. This baggage allowance is inclusive of both checked and carry-on baggage.
As the airline uses small regional jets on al flights, there is only one cabin class. This cabin class is called Economy Class. The cabin is sleek, clean and modern, with the airline's expertly trained crew available to help with any requests from all passengers.
Seats are set out in a 1 x 1 formation, ensuring that each passenger is sat with their own space, with both the window and aisle next to them.
The airline doesn't have an in-flight entertainment system. However, it does provide each passenger with a magazine to read for the duration of the flight.
Passengers are given complimentary refreshments, with light snacks such as potato chips and bottled water.

Passengers can check-in at the airport by presenting the relevant travel documents to an airline check-in agent at the airport of departure. Airport check-in closes 30 minutes before scheduled flight departure time on domestic flights and 60 minutes before scheduled flight departure time on international flights.
Passengers can get points and air miles through Tradewind Rewards, the airline's frequent flyer program. Every one-way flight a passenger takes grants them 10 points and after 100 points, they'll get a free one-way flight! Tradewind Aviation isn't a member of any airline alliance. However, it does have a number of interline agreements with airlines to allow passengers to fly to other parts of the world on the same itinerary as their Tradewind Aviation flight.

Westchester County Airport (HPN) is a small regional airport in White Plains, New York and is one of the hubs for Tradewind Aviation. The airport has two runways, one terminal building and handles around one million passengers each year.
Tradewind Aviation is currently the only airline based at the airport. However, ther airlines that fly to/from the airport include American Eagle, Cape Air, JetBlue, Reliant Air and more.
