What is Spirit Airlines' Cancellation Policy?
With Spirit Airlines, you are entitled to a full refund if you cancel your flight within 24 hours of when you first made your booking and at least 7 days before the scheduled departure date.
If you want to cancel your Spirit Airlines flight but the 24-hour window has elapsed, you won't receive a refund and you may need to pay a cancellation fee (depending on how soon you cancel your booking).
You can cancel your Spirit Airlines booking made through Alternative Airlines and still receive a full refund as long as you contact us during our operating hours and within the 24-hour cancellation window.
If you attempt to contact us outside of our operating hours and the 24-hour window has already expired by the time we receive your request, we may not be able to honour Spirit's 24-hour cancellation policy as the airline won't issue the refund to us.
Please contact us between 9am - 8pm UK time (GMT) if you wish to cancel your Spirit Airlines booking within the 24-hour cancellation window and receive a refund.
Can I get a refund for my Spirit Airlines cancellation?
Absolutely, but you'll need to cancel your Spirit booking within the 24-hour cancellation period starting from the time of booking.

What is Spirit Airlines' cancellation policy?
With Spirit Airlines, you can receive a full refund for your tickets if you cancel your booking within 24 hours from when you first made the booking.
After the 24-hour period has expired, you won't be eligible for a full refund. You can still cancel your Spirit Airlines flights, however, there are cancellation fees.
- Cancelling your Spirit flights 60 days or more from the departure date is free.
- Cancelling your Spirit flights 7-59 days before departure will cost you $49 USD in cancellation fees. This fee increases to $99 USD if you cancel 0-6 days before departure.
If you booked your Spirit Airlines flight(s) through Alternative Airlines and wish to cancel your booking, you can still receive a full refund as long as you contact us within the 24-hour cancellation window and during our operating hours (the sooner, the better).
Our operating hours are 9am - 8pm GMT. Contacting us outside of these hours to cancel your Spirit Airlines booking means we may not receive your refund request before the 24-hour period has elapsed, therefore, we won't be able to give you a refund.
I've cancelled my Spirit Airlines booking - why haven't I received a refund?
If you contacted us outside of our opening hours to cancel your Spirit Airlines flight and the 24-hour window has expired by the time we received your request, we won't be able to honour the 24-hour cancellation policy and therefore we cannot process your refund.
Alternative Airlines is following the airline's own cancellation policies that state customers won't be eligible for a full refund after the 24-hour cancellation window has elapsed.
Alternative Airlines is open from 9am - 8pm UK time (GMT). It's important that you contact us within our operating hours to allow us time to process your cancellation/refund request and issue you your refund.
Can I buy refundable Spirit Airlines flights?
Spirit Airlines doesn't currently offer refundable tickets - this is so that it can keep prices low for all customers.
To get a full refund, you'll need to cancel your Spirit Airlines flight within the 24-hour window that starts from the time of booking.
You can also receive a full refund if you added Cancellation Protection to your booking and need to cancel your flight due to emergency circumstances.
Does Spirit Airlines have a 24 hour cancellation policy?

If you cancel your flight within 24 hours of booking and at least 7 days before departure, you'll be eligible for a full refund, even if you booked through Alternative Airlines.
