Smartline is an Austrian charter airline that was established and began operations in 2013. The airline operates within 4 aviation market sectors, offering aircraft management, training courses, Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation and charter services across Europe. The airline is based in Bregenz close to the Austro-Swiss-German border. Smartline operates a fleet of private aviation aircraft for its charter services, primarily using a fleet of Cessna aircraft.
Each passenger is entitled to bring both cabin baggage and checked luggage with them on Smartline services. However, the level of this may depend on the aircraft operated as some have more spaces for luggage. When chartering services with the airline, information on baggage allowance will be communicated with you.
Smartline doesn't offer online check-in as it is a private aviation charter airline.
The airline offers airport check-in, however, as the services are private charters you only need to arrive at the departure point. Smartline states that you should arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time.
As the aircraft used are private business jets all passengers will be treated to a premium business class experience. Each aircraft has comfortable and spacious leather reclining armchairs helping you to get comfortable throughout your flight. Complimentary drinks and snacks are provided on all flights operated by the airline, however, this will be a cold meal service, if travelling onboard the airline's Cessna Lattitude jet then a warm meal service is also available.
Inflight entertainment and WiFi facilities may be available during your flight, however, this depends on the aircraft flown. Only the airline's Cessna Citation Jet C525C aircraft is equipped with both inflight entertainment screens, WiFi and telecommunications facilities. Similarly, the airline's Cessna Lattitude is also equipped with WiFi facilities.
Smartline offers complimentary drinks and snacks onboard. However, please tell the airline of your preferences so they can tailor their catering service to you. Please note that on all aircraft apart from the Cessna Lattitude a cold meal service will be offered.
Smartline doesn't offer a frequent flyer program for you to join as it is a charter airline. Frequent flyer programs are more common with commercial airlines.
Smartline is not a member of any airline alliance.
