Queen Bilqis Airways is an airline in Yemen that offers scheduled flights. The airline is based at Aden International Airport (ADE) and flies to a small number of destinations across Yemen, Jordan. and Sudan. At this time, the airline flies to four different destinations.
The idea for a new airline in Yemen came about in early 2013 and Queen Bilqis Airways was established by the end of the year. The carrier took a while to start flying, with a few delayed launches. It didn't fly its inaugural flight until 2018 when it flew to Amman, Jordan. The airline also started travelling domestically in the same month when it launched a service to Seiyun. Queen Bilqis Airways completed the first phase of its route network when it added Khartoum as its final destination.
Although it only flies across Yemen, Jordan and Sudan now, the airline has said that it wants to continue adding more destinations within the Middle East and Central Asia to its route network in the future, with flights to Cairo, Kuala Lumpur, Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, Kuwait, Bahrain, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Mumbai. Eventually, the airline plans to connect Yemen with parts of Europe.
