Odyssey Airlines is a startup international airline based in London City Airport, serving the premium market medium to long haul flights. The airline is planning to start operating in 2021, which is more than a decade after it's founded. However, in 2016, the airline was proposed to launch but have been postponed several times.
The aim of the airline launch is to provide all premium, Business Class services to North America and the Middle East, which will be achieved by a fleet of Airbus 220 aircraft. This has been previously attempted by British Airways with the Airbus 318 aircraft from London to New York.
The initial destinations proposed for the airline could include New York and Toronto.
