Novoair is a Bangladeshi airline based in Dhaka that mainly operates domestic flights within Bangladesh, but also a few international flights to destinations such as India. One of the airline's most popular domestic routes is Kathmandu Tribhuvan to Biratnagar.
The airline was founded in 2007 and didn’t begin flying operations until 2013 and international flights in 2015. It's main airport hub is at Shahjalal International Airport.
Novoair is the leading private airline of the country and was awarded the “Domestic Airline of the Year" and the “Best Customer Friendly” airline trophy in 2019.
On the 9th of January 2020, Novoair celebrated its 7th birthday. Novoair released a statement to announce that in the seven years it has been operating, the airline has operated 61,599 flights, carrying more than 3.33 million passengers.

All carry-on bags must measure up to 35cm x 15cm x 22cm (8 x 13 x 19 in). Any baggage exceeding the total dimensions in size and weight will be regarded as checked baggage. Please don't pack any prohibited items with you on board as they will be confiscated and not returned to you. Prohibited items in your carry-on luggage include nail cutters, knives, and liquids over 100ml.

Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport is the largest airport in Bangladesh and is also used by the Bangladesh Air Force. The airport is located in Kurmitola in northern Dhaka, taking over as the country's sole international airport from Tejgaon Airport in 1980. This airport has a handling capacity of 18.5 million passengers a year.
Hazrat Airport has 3 major terminals. Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 are both located within the same terminal and they operate international flights. The domestic terminal is the terminal that operates domestic flights. This terminal is situated to the left of the international terminals. Terminal 3 is currently under construction and is expected to finish its operations in 2023. The third terminal will consist of over 20 boarding bridges and 10+ conveyor belts, over 110 check-in counters and 50+ immigration desks.

Novoair 's fleet consists of entirely the ATR 72-500. The airline has a total of seven aircraft in total.
March 2022
Novoair suspended a number of its regular daily flight routes during the Coronavirus pandemic in 2019. Through 2022, more of these routes have been reinstated by the airline. In March 2022, it was announced that Novoair would again be commencing its Dhaka-Kolkata route. Novoair, one of the leading private airlines in the country, has received the “Best On-Time Performance of the Year- 2022” gold award in domestic flight operations. Novoair also won a silver award for best domestic airline category.
