IndiaOne Air is an Indian airline that is based at Biju Patnaik International Airport and flies to just over 8 destinations.
In August 2022, IndiaOne Air was launched. IndiaOne Air is Ahmedabad’s regional airline, the first single-engine aircraft operating for a scheduled airline in India. Its aim is to connect tier 2 and 3 cities within India to the main metropolitan city in a way that is cost-effective, safe and on time.
Its goal is to unite the unserved and underserved cities within India through the provision of scheduled interstate and intrastate flights, those that would ordinarily be challenging and time-consuming when travelling by train or road.
IndiaOne Air have values that hope to promote local tourism, enhancing connectivity amongst communities and supporting local business.
IndiaOne Air’s baggage fares are divided into 3 categories, ‘RCS fare’, ‘non RCS fare’ and ‘Any other fare'.
If you book any of the 3 fares, 1 piece of baggage weighing no more than 7kg is allowed on board free of charge, this weight restriction includes a laptop.
Carry on baggage must not exceed the dimensions of 38cm x 15cm x 40cm.
If you book any of the 3 fares, checked-in baggage is permitted to weigh no more than 15kg per bag due to health and safety reasons. Checked-in baggage is allowed on board free of charge.
If your baggage is overweight or oversized and does not conform to the baggage requirements of IndiaOne Air then a fee may be charged at a rate per excess kilogram. You may also be asked to remove items from your baggage so ensure that you pack carefully.
Due to the size of the aircraft there is only 1 standard class on board an IndiaOne Air flight. Although small, the seats retain great comfort and are of a similar standard to a private jet. There are 9 Pax seats on board.
IndiaOne Air has a different check-in opening and closing times depending on whether your flight is domestic or international, as well as your method of check-in.
Checking in for your flight online is efficient and secure. IndiaOne Air suggests online check-in is completed anytime up to 1 hour before the scheduled departure of your flight. Once checked in, be sure to either print out your boarding pass or have it visible on a mobile device so that it's to hand when travelling through the airport.
If you've purchased flights through Alternative Airlines, you can check in online through the IndiaOne Air check-in page.
If check-in was not possible online then you are able to check in at the airport no later than 60 minutes before the scheduled departure of your flight. IndiaOne Air suggests leaving a substantial amount of time to get through the check-in requirements.
Unfortunately, IndiaOne Air currently doesn't offer any in-flight entertainment or Wi-Fi on board its aircraft. It's recommended that you bring your own sources of entertainment when boarding an IndiaOne Air flight. Due to safety reasons, the use of electronic devices, including mobile phones, laptops, portable recorders, portable radios, CD players, electronic games or transmitting devices, including radio-controlled toys and walkie-talkies are not permitted whilst onboard the aircraft.
IndiaOne air operates flights to a small number of destinations including Jeypore, Kolkata and Bhubaneswar. See the table below for all the destinations:
