New Japan Aviation (which is also known by it’s abbreviation, NJA, as well as sometimes being referred to as Shinnikkō) is a Japanese airline and aviation services company. The company operates scheduled passenger flights between Niigata and Sado Island, as well as flight training and other services.
New Japan Aviation was founded in New Japan Aviation but began operating its scheduled service between Niigata and Sado in February 2011. It is currently the only airline to operate a scheduled service to Sado Island.
NJA is based at Kagoshima Airport, which serves the city of Kirishima in the Kagoshima Prefecture region of Japan. The airline operates four Cessna 172 and one Britten-Norman Islander.

Passengers flying with New Japan Aviation can't currently check-in for their flight online.

Passengers are encouraged to arrive at their departing airport as early as possible. The recommended arrival time is 2 hours prior to scheduled departure.
The airline can provide a number of special services for those with disabilities or requiring additional assistance. The airline will strive to meet your needs, but due to the configuration of the aircraft there may be restrictions. It is advised to contact our customer service team before you book to avoid disappointment.
The airline is currently the only airline to operate scheduled flights to Sado Island. Niigata to Sado is the only scheduled passenger route that the airline provides.
As well as scheduled passenger flights, New Japan Aviation can operate private charter flights between Kagoshima Airport and the following domestic airports within the region: Kagoshima Airport, Satsuma Iōjima Airport, Miyazaki Airport, Kumamoto Airport, Amakusa Airport, Kitakyushu Airport, Nagasaki Airport, Oita Airport, and other destinations by request.

Kagoshima Airport (IATA: KOJ) is an airport serving Kirishima, a city in the Kagoshima Prefecture region of Japan. It is the second-busiest airport in Kyushu, following Fukuoka Airport. As well as being the hub for New Japan Aviation, the airport is also a hub for Japan Air Commuter. Other airlines to fly to/from the airport include: All Nippon Airways, China Airlines, Korean Air, Jetstar Japan, Japan Airlines, and Eastar Jet.
The airline operates four Cessna 172 and one Britten-Norman Islander. The Britten-Norman Islander is used for scheduled passenger flights as it has a larger capacity, for up to 10 passengers.
The airline does not currently offer a frequent flyer program.
