Which airlines fly within Chile?
The following is a list of the airlines that currently operate domestic flights within Chile — a long and narrow country in western South America.
LATAM Airlines (LATAM Airlines Group S.A.) is an airline company headquartered in Santiago, in Chile (Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport). It is the largest airline in Latin America, with subsidiaries in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay and Peru. Within Chile, the airline mostly operates flights from its hub at Santiago, flying to the largest cities in Chile, as well as operating a few connecting flights between these secondary airports (la Serena to Calama, for example).
LATAM Express
LATAM Express is a subsidiary of LATAM Chile, and operates some of the domestic routes for its parent airline. LATAM Express is also based at Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport.
Sky Airline is a Chilean airline, operating scheduled domestic flights. It is the second largest airline in Chile. Like LATAM, the airline is based at Comodoro Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport in Santiago, and also operates an extensive network with Chile. Destinations include Antofagasta, Valdivia, Osorno, Calama, Balmaceda, Antofagasta, Iquique, Copiapó, and Pucon.
JetSmart is a South American ultra low-cost carrier, based at Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport in Chile. As well as opening flights to Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Peru, the airline also operates domestic flights between cities within Chile. This includes Puerto Natales, Antofagasta, Copiapó, Calama, and Arica.
Aerovías DAP is a Chilean airline, operating private charter and scheduled passenger flights. Based in Punta Arenas, the airline connects major cities within Chile, including Punta Arenas, Puerto Williams, Pampa Guanaco, Balmaceda, and Porvenir.
