Capricornio Air is a new airline with plans to operate a series of domestic routes within Peru. The airline was granted its Operating Licence to operate scheduled flights in June 2021 after submitting an application with Peru’s Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC). Initially, Capricornio Air plans on operating an extensive domestic route network from its hub at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima (LIM). Long-term, the airline has also expressed global ambitions. The airline hopes to build an extensive fleet of aircraft ranging from wide-body planes to helicopters.
Unfortunately, it is not yet possible to book flights with Capricornio Air. However, if you’re looking to book flights within Peru, then Alternative Airlines is the site for you. Capricornio Air hasn't announced any information about its baggage policies
As the airline is in an early stage of start-up, it has yet to announce what the baggage allowance will be for passengers.
Prohibited items must be stored in checked baggage, including any fluid exceeding 100ml. Prohibited items found by airport security could be confiscated.
Unfortunately, this information has yet to be announced.
International health and safety regulations state that checked baggage cannot weigh over 32kg, and must not exceed the permitted size allowance.
Capricornio Air hasn't announced any information about its check-in.
It is not yet known whether online check-in is available.
The airline has yet to publish a statement regarding recommended check-in times. However, in most instances it is recommended that passengers arrive as early as possible, usually about 2 hours before scheduled departure.
The airline has not yet established a frequent flyer program.
The airline is not currently part of an airline alliance program.
When it launches, the airline will initially operate a domestic network within Peru, flying from Jorge Chávez International Airport. Destinations will include: Arequipa, Cusco, Iquitos, Jaén, Piura, Pucallpa, Tacna, and Trujillo. A full list can be found below.
