If you made a WestJet flight booking through Alternative Airlines and need to cancel your trip, you can easily do so by activating self-service cancellation in the Manage My Booking portal. Or, for personalised assistance, our helpful Customer Service team are also ready to support you.
Simply sign in to Manage My Booking using your booking reference provided by us. Once you're signed in, you should see the option to cancel your WestJet flights. Before you cancel, we'll show you the total refund amount that you'll be eligible for based on the fare rules of your ticket.
Please be advised that a significant number of flight tickets are non-refundable, in accordance with the specific terms and conditions outlined by each airline.

WestJet states that you can cancel your flight without paying any cancellation fees and receive a full refund as long as you do so within 24 hours from the time of booking. If you booked WestJet flights through Alternative Airlines and cancel within 24 hours from the time of booking, we can process a full refund back to your original payment method.
To ensure you receive a full refund for your WestJet cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible or during our operating hours (9am - 8pm GMT). This is so that we have enough time to receive your request and process your refund.
If the 24-hour cancellation window has already expired by the team we receive your request, you won't be eligible for a full refund as WestJet won't allow us to issue the refund.

The cancellation fee for your WestJet flight will depend on the fare type, the booking timeframe and the route you're flying on. For cancellations more than 24 hours after the time of booking, the following cancellation fees apply:

If you're cancelling your WestJet flight within the first 24 hours from the time of booking, you're eligible for a full refund and won't need to pay any cancellation fees.

WestJet bookings with the Cancellation Protection add-on are eligible for a full refund if you need to cancel due to an emergency. This can be activated either in Manage My Booking, via the Claim My Refund page or by contacting our Customer Service team.
Get a partial refund through Cancel For Any Reason:
WestJet bookings with the Cancel For Any Reason add-on are eligible for a 70% refund if you need to cancel for any reason. You will receive your refund 30 days from when you requested the cancellation. Cancel For Any Reason is available in the Manage My Booking portal until 48 hours before departure.

If you purchased a refundable WestJet flight, you can receive a refund before departure, minus the cancellation fee you may have to pay.
