Great Barrier Island flights: Premium, Economy and Seat + passengers are entitled to 20kg of checked baggage. Seat Only passengers don’t have any checked baggage allowance.
Kaitaia flights: All passengers, including Premium, Economy and Seat + passengers are entitled to 23kg of checked baggage. Seat Only passengers don’t have any checked baggage allowance.
On occasion, due to adverse weather or other factors, the airline may not be able to transport all checked baggage on the departing flight. In this instance, the baggage will be transported on the next departing flight with space available. Excess Baggage carriage is subject to space and weight availability and may need to be transported on the next flight.

For all Barrier Air flights, passengers must be checked in at least 45 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
The airline provides four fare types available to choose from: Seat Only, Seat and Bag, Economy and Premium. The onboard experience will be similar, as facilities onboard the aircraft are limited. Passengers will be required to remain seated during the short flights, which offer incredible views of the scenery below. Both of these fare classes offer the flexibility to reschedule or cancel, however there are differences in the terms and conditions.
This is the most affordable option for those whose schedule is unlikely to change. It allows passengers to reschedule their booking prior to the day of departure, but a fee will be charged.
The Economy fare allows passengers to reschedule their booking prior to the day of departure. A smaller fee will be charged.
The Premium fare gives passengers the flexibility to reschedule their booking up until 2 hours prior to scheduled departure, and for free.
The airline does not currently provide a frequent flyer program.
The airline is not currently part of an airline alliance.
