Fly ALS is a regional airline in Kenya and has been operating in the country since 1985. The airline operates short hops between the cities of Kenya using its fleet of small turboprop aircraft which typically seat 50-80 passengers. The airline's operational base is at Wilson Airport which is situated in the South West of the capital of Kenya, Nairobi.
The airline is part of Aircraft Leasing Services (ALS) group which, along with scheduled aircraft services (operated by ALS Airline and branded as FLY ALS), provides capacity support to existing and startup airlines, operates charter flights for oil and gas companies, and provides maintenance support at its hub in Nairobi, Kenya.

ALS allows 2 bags as standard checked baggage. The maximum permissible dimension of the checked baggage is specified as 157 centimetres (62in), i.e. the sum of length + width + breadth shouldn't exceed 62in or 157 cm. The maximum permissible weight of each bag is 23 kg (50lbs).
Fly ALS don't state the exact fee for excess baggage. But, it's expected to be around $90 USD for each excess bag per passenger.
In case of overweight or oversized baggage, a fee will be charged. The exact fee is subject to change and ALS has advised to contact them to inquire about the fee. Bags weighing more than 40kg (90lbs) won't be accepted onboard ALS aircraft.
Fly ALS passengers must check in at the airport since the airline doesn't offer online check in.
When flying with ALS you can check-in online on their website. You'llneed to enter your booking reference number and your last name to complete your check-in. Online check-in opens 24 hours before the departure of flight. Minimum time requirements for check-in, baggage check and boarding may vary based on your departure airport and destination so it isbest to confirm these timings as mentioned in your ticket.
ALS passengers can check in 60 minutes before the departure of the flight. As a general rule, we recommend passengers arrive 2 hours before the scheduled departure time. Check-in must be completed before the airport check-in deadline, otherwise, passengers may lose their flight.
