About Air Sahara
Air Sahara was an Indian airline that operated domestically within the country. Air Sahara was initially founded in 1991 and was later rebranded as Sahara Airlines. It became an important player in the Indian aviation sector, operating both domestic and international flights.
In 2007, Jet Airways acquired Air Sahara, leading to its rebranding as JetLite. The acquisition aimed to strengthen Jet Airways' position in the Indian aviation market.
