Air Kerala is a new low-cost airline based in Kerala, India. It is currently being backed by Dubai-based investors and ZettFly Aviation Private Limited, with a plan to launch operations in 2025.
Air Kerala's goal is to improve connectivity between Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities within Kerala and connect them to other major airports in Tier 1 cities of India. It ultimately wants to provide affordable and convenient travel options to the people of Kerala.
The new low-cost airline will aim to launch in 2025 with a fleet of three ATR 72-600 aircraft. Air Kerala will be based at Cochin International Airport. In the future, it hopes to expand to the Middle East and have a fleet of 20 aircraft.

It will focus on providing regional flights between Tier 2 and 3 cities to major airports in Tier 1. Air Kerala will launch with a small fleet of ATR 72-600 turboprop aircraft first but plans to eventually expand its fleet to 20 aircraft.
Air Kerala is backed by Dubai-based investors and will initially operate domestic flights in India. Its long-term vision is to include low-cost flights to cities in the Middle East, such as Dubai and Doha.
