Founded in 2018, Xiongan Airlines is a Chinese airline offering domestic and international services, which was expected to launch in 2019. The airline is a subsidiary airline of China Southern and was launched as part of China Southern's dual-hub plan, with the airline using the new Beijing Daxing International Airport as its hub. Initially, Xiongan Airlines will operate domestic services from Beijing Daxing International Airport and will slowly phase-in international flights in the coming years. In November 2018, it was given the go ahead by The Civil Aviation Administration of China.

Expected to open in later 2019, Beijing Daxing International Airport is Beijing's second international airport of China. The airport is located on the border of Beijing in the Hebei Province and will serve as one of North China's major international airports.
Beijing Daxing International Airport has one 700,00 square meter terminal with four runways. It's estimated that the airport will operate over 600,000 flights per year and carry more than 100 million passengers.
This airport is also a hub for Beijing Capital Airlines and Air China.
The airline fleet includes Airbus A320 aircraft.
