White Airways is a Portuguese airline that offers a mix of charter and scheduled flights. The airline is based at Lisbon Portela Airport (LIS) and flies to several destinations within Europe and to Africa. Overall, the airline has more than 20 destinations within its route network.
The airline mainly flies charter flights on behalf of tour operators in Europe. However, it also flies scheduled flights on behalf of TAP Portugal's' regional subsidiary TAP Express, as well as for Ceiba Intercontinental Airlines.
The airline launched flights in 2005 under the name Yes - Linhas Aereas Charter. It was majority-owned by TAP Portugal, hence why the airline has an affiliation with TAP's regional subsidiary. The other part of the airline was owned by Abreu Group. A year after its launch, White Airways was bought by Omni Aviation, who is still its current owners today.
The baggage allowance for White Airways flights will differ depending on the airline or company that the airline is operating on behalf of.
Passengers can view the baggage allowance for their flight at the time of booking or by checking the e-ticket that is sent to them after completing their booking.
Passengers flying with White Airways can't check in for their flight online.
Online check-in isn't available for this airline.
Passengers must check-in for the airport for their flight. Airport check-in can be completed by visiting one of the airport check-in agents at the airport. The check-in agents will be located at the airline check-in desk, which should be signposted. To check-in, passengers will need the relevant travel documents, including their e-ticket and passport.
The food and drink offering does depend on the length of the flight. The majority of White Airways flights do not have an onboard catering service. Some longer flights may give passengers the opportunity to purchase snacks and drinks once in-flight, however, this is not guaranteed.
Passengers are welcome to bring their own food and drink on board the flight. However, if they're bringing food and drink from home, they must make sure that it's the requirements that are allowed to pass through airport security.
White Airways doesn't have in-flight entertainment or WIFI on any of its flights.
