Uplift is a Buy Now Pay Later payment provider available to residents of the United States and Canada. When you search for flights at Alternative Airlines, you can select Uplift at checkout and spread the cost of your flights over 6, 9 or 12 months.
Uplift lets you conveniently manage the cost of your flights over time. You won't need to pay the full cost of your flights upfront - just the first instalment and that's it!
How can I pay for flights with Uplift?
Once you've found the flights you want to book, you can select a payment method at checkout. Uplift is a Buy Now Pay Later payment method, so you'll need to click on the 'Buy Now Pay Later' category at checkout.
Uplift will be available at checkout if you're a resident of the United States or Canada. Select your preferred repayment period and then follow the instructions on the screen (signing in to Uplift, eligibility checks, etc). After you have made the first payment, we'll send you your e-tickets immediately or within the next 24 hours.
How many months do my flights have to be paid back in?
Uplift offers 6, 9 or 12-month payment plans. After you've booked your flights with us and paid the first instalment, you can view your payment plan through the Uplift app.
Will interest be charged on my Uplift payments?
Yes, interest will be charged when you buy flights with Uplift. The amount of interest that is charged differs from person to person, however, Uplift will let you know how much interest is going to be charged before you confirm your purchase.
Is there a chance I won't be approved?
Yes, Uplift will not approve your details can't be verified or if you're not eligible for credit.
Where is Uplift available?
Uplift is available to US residents paying in USD and Canadian residents paying in CAD.
Is Uplift available outside of the US and Canada?
At the moment, the Uplift payment method is only available for residents in the US that pay in USD and residents in Canada that pay in CAD.
Can I use Uplift to pay for domestic flights within the US?
Yes, Uplift can be used to pay for all domestic flights within the US. Alternative Airlines offers flights from all airlines offering US domestic flights, including Delta, Southwest, Frontier, Sun Country, Allegiant, Spirit, and more.
Can Uplift be used to pay for international flights?
Yes, if you're a US resident paying in US dollars, you can buy flights on any of the 600+ airlines available at Alternative Airlines, regardless of whether it's a US carrier or an airline from another country.
Can Uplift be used to pay for flights flying outside of the US?
As long are you're a US or Canadian resident paying in US or Canadian dollars, Uplift can be used to pay for flights on any of the airlines available at Alternative Airlines. This includes if your flight is traveling between two destinations completely outside of the US.
Can Uplift be used to pay for airlines that aren't in the US?
Yes, if you're a US resident paying in US dollars, you can buy flights on any of the 600+ airlines available at Alternative Airlines, regardless of whether it's a US carrier or an airline from another country.

A few airlines (not many) offer Uplift as a payment option. But here at Alternative Airlines, we offer Uplift as a payment option no matter which airline you fly with. Does Delta use Uplift?
