One piece of hand luggage with a maximum weight of 10kg is permitted per passenger. If hand luggage fails to meet the guidelines it will be transported in the hold and the passenger will be charged €40 per bag.

Online check-in opens 30 hours before your flight and closes 4 hours prior to departure. Online check-in is available for all Transavia flights, apart from those departing from Dubai.
Passengers also have the opportunity to check in at the airport for no additional cost. Passengers must check in any luggage before the check-in desk closes. Check-in closure will vary according to the airport and the destination the passenger is flying to. Make sure you arrive at the airport at least 2 hours and 40 minutes ahead of time.
Transavia offers three different fares: “Basic” includes 10kg hand luggage and a confirmed seat. “Plus” holds further amenities like 1 free piece of luggage of 20 kilograms, a dedicated seat reservation and flexible rebooking conditions. “Max” additionally includes a free 30kg piece of luggage and the usage of a fast lane at the security check for shorter waiting times before the flight.
Transavia operates a frequent flyer program called Flying Blue Miles whereby choosing a Plus or Max Fare while booking flights to earn a set number of Award Miles. This applies to only to flights operated by Transavia Netherlands. Adults can take 1 piece of hand baggage of up to 10 kg.
