Thunder Airlines, also known as Thunder Air, is a scheduled and charter airline based in Ontario, Canada. It was founded in 1995 and started operations with a single aircraft. Thunder Airlines offers on-demand charter service from bases in and around Thunder Bay and Timmins in Ontario. It primarily serves remote communities in Northern Ontario that aren't road-accessible therefore it is an essential transportation link within these areas.
Over the years, Thunder Airlines has expanded its operations and now has a fleet of 10 aircraft including several Beechcraft King Air turboprops and Cessna Caravan single-engine aircraft.
Thunder Airlines has different baggage policies for carry-on and checked baggage.
For carry-on baggage, passengers are permitted one personal item (such as a laptop bag, purse or backpack) and a standard carry-on bag.
The carry-on bag cannot exceed dimensions of 23 x 40 x 50 cm or a weight of 9 kg.

Thunder Airlines only has one cabin class. Seats are in an economy-class configuration with ample legroom. Complimentary snacks and beverages are served onboard.

Check-in for your Thunder Air flight needs to be done at the airport. The airline recommends that passengers arrive at the airport at least 45 minutes before the scheduled flight departure time and be checked in at least 30 minutes before departure.
Thunder Air doesn't currently have a frequent flyer program, however, it does provide charter services for businesses and organisations with a customised solution for these clients based on their specific needs.
The airline doesn't currently belong to any airline alliance however it does have partnerships with other airlines and travel service providers to offer passengers additional benefits such as ground transportation and hotel accommodations.
