Spot Group is an international airline and aviation company that specialises in charter brokers, as well as other flight services. The company is based internationally, with headquarters in Cairo, Dubai and Hannover and sells commercial charter and scheduled flights flying throughout the Middle East, Gulf, Africa and Europe.
The company primarily offers charter broker services, providing airline clients with fleets and branded aircraft to run charter flights and connecting them with customers from around the world. Spot Group also sells scheduled flights, acting as a central point to buy flights on a variety of airlines that it has partnered with. The company doesn't operate any flights itself and isn't an airline. Instead, it sells airline tickets on behalf of other airlines.
Spot Group has existed for more than 15 years and in its time has provided a variety of services, including holiday charter flights, flights for religious pilgrimages such as Hajj and Umrah and medical and rescue flights.
The baggage allowance for each individual flight will differ depending on which airline is operating the flight and the route that they're flying.
If passengers book their tickets with Alternative Airlines, we display the free baggage allowance at the time of booking, as well as on the e-ticket that is sent out after completing a booking.
Depending on the airline flying the flight, Spot Group can provide flights in all cabin classes, including Economy Class, Premium Economy, Business Class and First Class.
Although the service will differ depending on which airline the ticket is sold on, passengers can expect the usual from each cabin class. Economy Class offers the most basic service, with a few extra benefits included. First Class offers the most complete flight experience, with the most attentive service and many extra benefits such as exclusive meal services, priority boarding, airport lounge access and much more.
On charter flights, the cabins might be different. For example, on smaller private charter planes, the plane might only feature one cabin but this cabin will have a private business jet style cabin, with large seats and lots of space for each passenger.
In-flight entertainment and WIFI might be available on flights from certain airlines but won't be available for all airlines.
In-flight entertainment is typically available on long-haul flights, with an in-flight entertainment system for each individual passenger, built into the back of seats.
WIFI can be available on both short-haul and long-haul flights. However, it may come at a charge.
Food and drink services will differ depending on the airline that the flight is sold on. However, the vast majority of airlines will offer some kind of in-flight food and drink service, which will be available to order from the airline's in-flight menu after take-off.
Some airlines might offer a full meal service, whereas others will offer light refreshments. If an airline offers a full meal service with the option to pre-book, this will be available at the time of booking.
Spot Group International doesn't operate a check-in service. Individual airlines will each operate different check-in rules.
Whether online check-in is available will depend on each individual airline that Spot Group sells flights on behalf. Online check-in will be available on the airline's website.
Airport check-in is available for all customers on any airline. Passengers will need to check-in at the airport in the hours leading up to their flight. Check-in times will differ depending on each airline. As a general rule, domestic flight check-in times are much shorter than international flight check-in times.
