Absolutely. Smartpay does not transfer card or personal details over to merchants. Smartpay also uses the latest security protocols for data storage and network connections.
You can use Smartpay if you: are a Japanese resident; aged 20+; have a valid Japanese mobile number; can provide a valid delivery address in Japan; and are authorised to use a Japan-issued credit or debit card.
With Smartpay, you can pay for your purchase in 3 instalments, due every 4 weeks. Simply select Smartpay as your payment method at checkout. If you’re a first-time Smartpay userm you’ll need to provide details to create your new Smartpay account, while if you already have a Smartpay account, you’ll be able to checkout straight away.
Unfortunately, Smartpay is currently unavailable as a payment option through Alternative Airlines.
