Sita Air is a commuter airline that operates scheduled flights within Nepal, The airline operates out of its main base at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), in Kathmandu, Nepal. The airline received its air operators certificate in the year 2000 and was established in October 2000, but was unable to operate until February 2003 because of the political unrest in Nepal. The airline was made to only make cargo flights from 2014 until 2016. Overall, the airline has a fleet of 4 turboprop aircraft ranging all ranging from Cessnas that can in total carry 76 passengers at one time.

Sita Air has different baggage policies for carry-on and checked baggage.
The airline's baggage allowance includes all bags, carry-ons, laptop bags, purses and other items. All baggage must be weighed.
Sita Air passengers are permitted to take 18kg of baggage per person and not exceed 127 linear centimetres (length + width + height). Any additional baggage will be charged at the current excess baggage rate. The airline isn't permitted to take hazardous materials such as flammables, compressed gases, batteries and toxic substances. If you are not certain if the goods you will be taking may be denied loading.
The airline mostly operates small flights and there is only one cabin class that is provided on the aircraft and that is the standard Economy class. The airline gives you amenities such as the one free checked piece of baggage, snacks, drinks and the option of choosing your seat.
Seats are positioned in a 1 x 2 formation depending on the aircraft, ensuring that each passenger will sit by either a window, aisle or both.
