The airport is located 3.7 miles (6 km) northwest of the central business district of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Main Terminal

The terminal in total has seven gates, all with boarding bridges. Five gates of the gates can accommodate large aircraft carriers such as Airbus 320 Family or Boeing 737 Family while gate number five can accommodate aircrafts such as Boeing 757 whereas gate number 2 can only accommodate an ERJ-145 or a CRJ 200.
