RB Link is owned by Royal Brunei Airlines, in partnership with Malindo Air, who's a Malaysian hybrid airline based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. The airline is operating routes from Brunei to surrounding regions including Malaysia and Indonesia.
Six destinations are served by the airline in Brunei and Malaysia including Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Sandakan, Sibu, Tawau with a fleet of ATR 72-600 aircraft. These aircraft are flown by Malindo Air, serving 72 passengers maximum in total. However, services are provided by Royal Brunei Airlines onboard.
Due to the impact of COVID-19, RB Link suspended operations in March 2020.
RB Link has different baggage policies for carry-on and checked baggage.
Passengers receive a piece of 7kg carry-on baggage on RB Link flights. The carry-on baggage must fit within 55cm x 38cm x 20cm (22" x 15" x 8").
Items carried onboard must fit within the overhead lockers and under the seat for the safety of the passengers onboard.
Prohibited items are banned onboard including any liquid or gels exceeding 100ml.
Baggage allowance on RB Link is 15kg, the details will be stated on the ticket the passengers purchased.
The maximum baggage weight is 32kg, any baggage above this weight cannot be accepted by the airline due to international health and safety regulations.

Online check-in is available on the Royal Brunei Airlines website. Check-in is available between 48 hours to 90 minutes before the established departure time. Once passengers completed online check-in, they'd be able to obtain their boarding passes.
Passengers can complete online check-in with the booking reference number and travel document details. These could be valid travel documents including a passport, driving licence or identity card.
Airport check-in counters opening and closing time varies from airport to airport, but it generally opens three hours before and 45 minutes prior to scheduled departure time. However, at some airports, check-in counters may lose 60 minutes before departure.
