Qanot Sharq is the first private airline that operates flights within Uzbekistan. The carrier operates out of its hub at Tashkent International Airport (TAS), the capital city. The airline was founded in 2005 as an air cargo and freight carrier until 2019 when it announced its intentions of offering private passenger flights. A year later in April 2020, the airline received two Airbus A320 passenger aircraft and in July 2021, the airline was granted rights to undertake commercial passenger flights.
Qanot Sharq plans to operate 9 domestic destinations as well as 16 international flights regularly scheduled flights to Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Russia, Turkey, Egypt, Azerbaijan, Georgia and the UAE.

Qanot Sharq has a different baggage policy for carry-on and checked baggage policy.
Qanot Sharq passengers are permitted to take with them 1 piece of 20 kg checked baggage per person and not exceed 158 linear centimeters (length + width + height) except for those that are on the XS fare. Any additional baggage will be charged at the current excess baggage rate. The airline isn't permitted to take hazardous materials such as flammables, compressed gases, batteries and toxic substances. If you are not certain if the goods you will be taking may be denied loading.
The airline's baggage allowance includes all bags, carry-ons, laptop bags, purses and other items. All baggage must be weighed.
Qanot Sharq passengers should not exceed 10 kg carry on baggage and are permitted to take 1 piece of it. Any additional baggage will be charged at the current excess baggage rate
The airline will mostly operates small domestic flights and there is only one cabin class that is provided on the aircraft and that is the standard Economy class. The airline gives you amenities such as the one free checked piece of baggage, the option of choosing your seat and plan to offer meals and refreshments.
Seats are positioned in a 3 x 3 formation, ensuring that each passenger will sit by either a window, aisle, or between passengers.
Qanot Sharq passengers must check in at the airport since the airline doesn't offer online check in.
Online check-in before your flight isn't required when travelling with the airline.
When passengers arrive at the terminal of the airport, they will hand in their boarding pass and the airline will take care of their luggage. It would take a few minutes for you to get checked in. The airline emphasis that passengers are advised to arrive 2 hours before their scheduled departure time. The airline crew from their will be ready to help in the check-in and boarding process.
The airline does not currently offer a frequent flyer program.
Qanot Sharq is not currently part of an airline alliance program.
