Marianas Southern Airways is a new airline in the Mariana Islands. It plans to launch in July 2022 by using the air operator certificate (AOC) of the US carrier Southern Airways Express.
The airline has a joint venture between Southern Airways Express and Marianas Islands real estate company, Saipan MP Enterprises. The joint venture will be operating domestic flights in the Marianas Islands and an international service which will be joining the Marianas Islands capital Saipan to Guam.
Marianas Southern Airways will be operating over 90 flights a week to Saipan, Rota, Guam and Tinian.
Most airlines will allow a free cabin baggage (H56cm x W45cm x D25cm) and a small personal item such as, a briefcase, during long haul flights. During short-haul flights some airlines will charge you for a carry-on and some will offer them for free. Marianas Southern Airlines hasn't launched information on carry-on baggage but its likely that you will be able to bring a small personal item that will fit under the seat in front of you.
Please ensure that you are not packing prohibited items inside your carry-on baggage, this includes any liquids over 100ml. Any prohibited items will be removed from your bag at security.

Marianas Southern Airways provides ergonometric seats for a comfortable journey. Each seat has a LED reading light, as well as an armrest and a cupholder.
