Key West International Airport (IATA: EYW) is an international airport in the City of Key West, Florida. The airport is a public owned airport that in 2011 had 62,293 aircraft operations. The airport's flights began in 1913. The airport has an area of 334 acres and owns one runway.

The airport currently has five airlines that use the airport such as American Eagle, Delta, Delta Connection, Silver Airways, Southern Airways Express and United Express.

The airport has two terminals that have been both designed by Mark Mosko who has also worked on Baltimore–Washington International Airport and Dwane Stark. The older ground-level terminal building opened in 1957 and now serves arriving passengers. It has now been renovated and expanded its departure gate lounge and the baggage claim. The newer building terminal has a check-in area, the airport's security checkpoint, an elevated roadway and a houses ticketing.

How to get to Key West International Airport

By Road

There is a wide range of taxi firms that offer taxicab services at Key West Internation Airport. If you need a taxi, you need to walk to the ground transportation area of the airport. It takes only 5 minutes to the Key West City centre by taxi. There are drop-off and pick-up areas at the terminals and short and long-stay multi-storey car parks you can use to park your car at a cost. Parking is available for 300 vehicles at ground level under the newer terminal,150 spaces for rental cars and 150 for the general public.
