Joy Air is a Chinese passenger airline, launched by China Eastern Airlines and AVIC I. It was formed in 2008, commencing operations in 2009. Joy Air is based in Xi’an and focuses on the northwestern part of China.
Joy Air has a different policy for checked and carry-on baggage.
Hand baggage is limited to 5kg per person. Carry-on baggage must fit within the dimensions of 20 x 30 x 40cm.
On domestic routes, the checked baggage allowance for Joy Air passengers is 20kg. This must not exceed 40 x 60 x 100 cm.
The airline's aircraft are configured to hold 60 passengers in a single economy-class cabin.
Facilities are limited as the airline is committed to cost-reduction for customers.
Seats are padded, with a fold-down back-seat table.
Joy Air passengers must check in at the airport since the airline doesn't offer online check in.
Joy Air do not currently offer Online Check-In for their passengers.

Airport check-in will usually open 90 minutes before departure time, but be sure to check your ticket in case of any changes.
