Jet Green Airlines is currently going through the process of inspection. Once the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority has forwarded its recommendations for the airline to the government's Aviation Division for final scrutinization. Federal cabinet acceptance is also needed before the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority can provide a Regular Public Transport license. The airline carrier will be required to get an Air Operator’s Certificate from the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority before they can start the flight services.
After having Jet Green Airline approved with a license, this will make the number of private carriers operating in the country five, serving Pakistan's 217 million population.
The airline will join 4 other airlines already operating domestically within the country and they include Airblue, SereneAir, and AirSial as well as Pakistan International Airline. There are 2 other airlines that have had their inspection approved in Pakistan and they are Q Airlines and Fly Jinnah who are in the process of starting domestic flights in Pakistan soon.
Jet Green Airlines will be required to operate domestic flights for at least one year with three aircraft before allowing international services. In terms of international services, the airline will most probably start flight services to the Middle East for its workforce demand.
