Hunnu Air is a Mongolian domestic airline which was established and began scheduled flights in 2011.
Previously Hunnu Air was called Mongolian Airlines Group, however in April 2013 to avoid any confusion with the similarly named Mongolian flag carrier MIAT Mongolian Airlines they changed their name.
Headquartered in the Sukhbaatar district, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia Hunnu Air's main focus is domestic flights from their hub Chinggis Khaan International Airport. Hunnu Air was founded as Mongolian Airlines Group.
In addition, Hunnu Air operates international flights to Manzhouli, Hailar and Erlian.
All routes are operated on one of two aircraft either a Fokker 50 or ATR 72-500, the maximum seating capacity being the ATR with 72 seats. Mongolian Airlines Group currently deploys a fleet of 4 aircrafts for its passenger flight operation, comprising of world-class Airbus 319-100 aircrafts which are globally known for its passenger comfort and safety as well as the Holland manufactured 50 seater Fokker 50 type aircrafts, while 5 of our legendary AN-2 type aircrafts are still flying prolifically in the air for the agricultural flight services.
Hunnu Air allows a free baggage allowance for checked baggage up to 30 kg in all international flights. Total weight of checked baggage up to 20kg in all international flights and up to 10kg in all domestic flights. Carry-on baggage is limited to one piece and must not weigh more than 5 kg.
There are 2 official cabin classes onboard a Hunnu Air flight, Economy and Business.
Economy Class is one of two cabin classes that Hunnu Air offer. The airline's courteous flight attendants deliver a friendly service.
A light meal and/or snacks and drinks are available to order from the airline's in-flight menu.
There's no in-flight entertainment available on Hunnu Air flights.
Seats are set out in a 2 x 2 formation, with each seat giving sufficient pitch and width for a relaxed journey.
The airline has a Business Class cabin that is made up of six seats. These seats are larger and designed to give a far more comfortable journey than Economy.
The Business Class service is delivered by the airline's expertly trained flight attendants.
