Golden Air was a Swedish low-cost regional airline based at Trollhatten-Vannersborg airport until its name and branding changed to Braathens Regional Airways in 2013. Under the Golden Air name, Golden Air offered fast and convenient connections between Stockholm andTrollhatten. With a journey time of just one hour, this was the most immediate connection between the Swedenwest-coast and the capital city of Stockholm. Golden Air flew the Trollhatten—Stockholm route six times a day.
Golden Air flew to a variety of destinations within Sweden before rebranding to Braathens Regional, including Stockholm and Gothenburg. Below is a list of some of its former destinations:
Golden Air's baggage allowance typically included free checked baggage and cabin baggage. The specific weight and size limits may have varied depending on the fare type and ticket class. Passengers were advised to check the airline's website for detailed baggage allowance information.
Golden Air operated as a regional airline with a single-class cabin configuration. It did not offer separate cabin classes like economy, business or first class.
Golden Air did not offer dedicated in-flight entertainment systems on its flights. Given its short-haul regional operations, passengers usually relied on personal electronic devices or reading materials for entertainment during the flight.
Golden Air provided complimentary snacks and beverages on board its flights. The specific offerings may have varied depending on the flight duration and time of day. However, as a regional airline, full meal service was not provided.
Passengers flying with Golden Air could check-in either at the airport counters or through online check-in. At the airport, passengers could check in with the airline's staff at the designated counters. Online check-in allowed passengers to check-in for their flights and select seats in advance, saving time at the airport.
