Galapagos Airways is a start-up airline in Ecuador and was founded in 2018. The airline is aiming to fly regional destinations including the archipelago. As of July 2021, the airline is still in the process of obtaining its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) before its launch. However, the airline has already planned to fly to a maximum of 10 domestic destinations.
Two primary hub airports including the Seymour Airport (GPS) and San Cristobal Airport (SCY) would be utilized to serve the destinations the airline intends to fly. However, Mariscal Sucre International Airport (UIO) will be its base airport.
The exact aircraft Galapagos Airways will deploy is still unconfirmed but it would be a narrow-body aircraft in the form of either the Boeing 737 NG or Embraer E190.
Galapagos Airways hasn't announced any information about its baggage policies yet.

Carry-on items must fit within the overhead bins and under the seat in front. The weight of the item must not exceed the airline's permitted allowance. Items that exceed the airline's allowance will either be charged or be transported as checked baggage.
