Here at Alternative Airlines, we've developed an easy tool to help you find the cheapest days to travel. Simply enter your preferred dates of departure and arrival and we'll use a traffic light system to show you the cheapest alternative travel dates around the time you want to fly. If you can be flexible with your dates of travel, this is one of the easiest ways to help you save money when you fly.

Using the search form at the top of the page, fill in your departure and arrival airports, the number of passengers who will be flying and the cabin class you'd like to fly in.

Next, search for the dates you wish to travel. If you click on the date selection box, our Best Fare Finder calendar will pop up displaying the cheapest days of the month to fly. Scroll along to your preferred month of departure.
Our traffic light system helps you decide when to fly. Dates that are displayed in green are the dates that are cheapest to fly within that month. Amber dates are flights of average value and the red dates are the most expensive days to fly within that month.
If you're flexible with your travel dates, you might be able to find departure or arrival dates that are earlier or later than your original plan which turn out to be cheaper and help you save money!
