Dana Air is a Nigerian airline offering domestic flights within Nigeria. The airline is based at Lagos Murtala Muhammed International Airport (LOS) and currently offers flights to 5 destinations across Nigeria. In July 2022, the airline had both its license and certificate suspended by the Nigerian Government after it was found financially unfit to maintain operations. However, they were reinstated in November 2022 and Dana Air has begun operating again.
Dana Air is a hybrid airline that offers flights that have the safety and quality onboard services of a legacy carrier but also the efficiency and price of a low-cost carrier. The airline was founded in 2008 and launched its first flights in the same year. With both an Economy Class and Business Class cabin, the airline provides a service for passengers that are travelling for both leisure and business.

All passengers are allowed one piece of carry-on baggage. This baggage must not exceed 6 kg / 13 lbs in weight for Economy Class passengers and 10kg / 22 lbs for Business Class passengers.
Prohibited items must be stored in checked baggage, including any fluid over 100ml. If you're looking to travel with any fluid, it must be within 100ml and packed in a plastic bag for airport security check. Any prohibited items will be removed and disposed of.
Dana Air allows all passengers one piece of checked baggage free of charge.
In Economy Class baggage must not exceed 23 kg / 51 lbs or 10kg / 22 lbs for an infant.
Business Class baggage must not exceed 30 kg / 66 lbs.
No one piece of luggage can exceed 32kg. Checked baggage cannot weigh over 32kg due to international health and safety regulations and it must not exceed the permitted size allowance.
If passengers need excess baggage, they can purchase it at a fee which will be given upon request. Excess baggage is subject to space availability onboard.

Economy class with Dana Air is a simple yet comfortable flying experience. Passengers will have everything they need in Economy, with a generous baggage allowance and food and drink served in-flight.
Economy Class Seats
Economy Class seats are set out in a 3 x 2 or 2 x 3 formation.
Business Class passengers will enjoy a more premium flying experience, with a greater amount of checked baggage allowance of up to 30kg. This means passengers travelling in business have less to worry about, as they can take more baggage without worrying about excess charges for overweight baggage. Passengers are served food and drink once in-flight.
Business Class Seats
Business Class seats are set out in a 2 x 2 formation.
In Economy class, there will be a range of snacks & beverages that you can purchase onboard. Business Class will be served premium meals.
Passengers in Economy Class are given a box of snacks, which usually consists of a cake or doughnut, a candy/sweet bar and water. In addition to this, passengers are served a hot drink with a choice of tea or coffee.
Passengers in Business Class are served a premium version of what is given in Economy Class.
With Dana Air, you can check-in online 24 hours prior to your flight. However, if you're unable to check-in online you can check-in at the airport.
Online check-in is available 24 -2 hours before your flight departure time. Passengers need to click on the 'online check-in' tab and enter their last name and PNR. Please make sure that you have your Boarding Pass printed or saved to your phone wallet, as you'll need to present this at the airport. We recommend that you check in online to avoid long queuing at the airport.
If you're unable to check-in online, don't worry! You can check in at the airport by visiting one of the airline check-in desks at the airport. Check-in opens two hours before the scheduled flight departure time and closes 25 minutes before.

Dana Miles is Dana Air's frequent flyer program, which rewards its regular passengers for flying with the airline by allowing them to earn and redeem miles, as well as a number of other benefits.

Dana Air only allows pets who are in good health condition to travel. Dana Air requests that pets should be at least 8 weeks old before they can travel.
Dana Air allows pregnant women to travel as long as they present a medical certification stating that they are fit to fly. Dana Air doesn't allow pregnant women to travel over 32 weeks.
Dana Air passengers are permitted to bring their own wheelchair. However, in situations where a passenger does not have a wheelchair, they can be provided upon arrival at the airport.

Dana Air recently announced that it will increase the number of flights it operates on routes to Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and Uyo. Specifically, Dana Air is increased flights between Lagos and Port Harcourt, Abuja and Uyo and Lagos to Abuja. The airline will use its newest Boeing 737-300 planes to fly the routes and will offer a combined number of 36 daily flights to these destinations.
Dana Air's Media and Communications Manager, Kingsley Ezenwa, stated that following the increased frequency of these new routes, the airline is keen to review other destinations that are already within its route network and roll out an increase of flights on a number of other routes.
