Arikok National Park

Arikok National Park makes up about 20% of Aruba's land area. It's a protected area of rugged terrain, desert-like hills and an abundance of flora and fauna. You can find Arikok National Park on the northeastern side of the island.

There are two entrances into the park - San Fuego entrance (the primary access point) and Vader Piet entrance (southeast of the park's border). If you're staying in the hotel zone of Aruba (north of the island), it's about a 40-minute drive to the national park. The park is best explored with a guided tour.

Entrance to Arikok National Park is about $20 USD per person, but children under the age of 17 can visit for free. It is open daily from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM but it's recommended you arrive early to fully enjoy the park's offerings. Visit during Aruba's dry season (January to March) for the best experience.
