Saint John's, Antigua and Barbuda

Discover Saint John's

The capital of all things Caribbean, Saint John's is where it's going on. Beautiful and chock full of character by day, and the life of the party by night. Experience true wonder as the stars come out uninhibited by light pollution from the peaks of Signal Hill, before returning to a private cabana overlooking a stunning bay.

Saint John's has no shortage of excursions or adventures for those who want to admire it in all its beauty. Walking tours around the city point out some of its more significant landmarks, including but not limited to the Almighty Basilica Cathedral of St John the Baptist, which stands as a bastion of the city's namesake, several war memorials, honouring the heroes lost fighting for freedom and the Colonial Building, which functions as the house of parliament for sitting members of the Antiguan government. You can even explore the coasts on a high-acceleration speed boat tour if you enjoy a bit more of a rush.

The Caribbean Islands are fan-favourite destinations for travellers from around the globe. That means tickets tend to sell out quickly, even more so in the winter months, when holidaymakers are fleeing the cold that invades the less tropical regions. That's why we recommend booking your trip to Saint John's at least a few months in advance, to reserve your place early and ensure smooth travelling.

Alternative Airlines can help you out by finding flights which suit your budget and travel preferences, whether you're looking for a direct flight to Saint John's or to puddle jump around the Caribbean.
