Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (IATA: CLE) also known as City of Colorado Springs Municipal Airport, is a public airport that serves 9.6 million passengers each year. The airport opened in 1927 and serves cities within the United States. The airport has an area of 1,717 acres and owns three runways.

The airport is the busiest and largest airport in Ohio and it is ranked 43rd busiest airport in the United States by passenger numbers. The airport is a focus city for Frontier Airlines. It provides passenger service to 54 destinations with 174 average daily departures.

Main Terminal

The airport has one terminal with two-levels. Concourse A has 12 gates in total numbering from A1 to A3, A5 to A12 and A14 and is home to Allegiant Air, Frontier Airlines, Spirit Airlines and all international arrivals. Concourse A has 11 gates in total numbered from B1 to B11 and is home to two airlines Delta and Southwest. Concourse C has in total 24 gates labelled from C2 to C11, C14, and C16 to C29 and houses airlines such as Air Canada Express, American Airlines, JetBlue and all United Airlines.

How to get to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport

By Road

There are a number of firms that offer these taxi services at the airport. Taxis are available on a 24-hour basis, picking up passengers outside near the orange coloured wall on the south side of the baggage claim area, near Carousel 11. It takes only 15 minutes to downtown Cleveland by taxi.

By Public Transport

Cleveland Hopkins Airport is connected to Tower City Station in downtown Cleveland, on the RTA “Red Line” rail system. There are departures every 15 minutes, and it takes 30 minutes between the airport and downtown Cleveland by train. The airport RTA station is located on the lower level of the main terminal.

By Rental Car

You can rent a car from a selection of car hire companies. Cleveland Hopkins International Airport has onsite 24-hour car rental services. Car rental shuttles stop on the lower roadway island which is accessible through Door 7 on the baggage claim level.
