Canarian Airways is a new Spanish airline launched with 100% Canarian capital by a group of tourism businessmen and a wet-lease carrier, One Airways. The airline is based in Tenerife, Canary Island, Spain at Tenerife South Airport. With its Air Operator's Certificate, the airline is targeting its maiden flight in the second quarter of 2021.

As of February, the airline has announced that they are flying to eight destinations within Europe including Berlin, Barcelona, Madrid, Bilbao, Vigo, Tenerife, Glasgow and Cardiff.

Currently, the airline is planning to operate its eight destinations with one Airbus A319-100 with a capacity of 144 passengers.

Baggage Policy

Carry-on Baggage

Baggage allowance for Canarian Airways flights has yet to be announced.

Carry-on baggage must fit in the overhead lockers or under the seat in front. Any prohibited items or baggage exceeding the airline's carry-on limit won't be accepted by the airline or confiscated by airport security.

Checked Baggage

Baggage allowance for Canarian Airways flights has yet to be announced.

Passengers checked baggage must not exceed 32kg or it won't be accepted by the airline. All checked baggage must fit within the allowance of the airline.

Check-In Information

Online Check-In

Online check-in policy hasn't been announced yet. All passengers must check in at the airport if online check-in isn't available for passengers.

Airport Check-In

Check-in deadlines haven't been announced yet, it should be available closer to the launch date.

Passengers should report to the airline check-in counters as soon as they arrive at the airport. At Alternative Airlines, we recommend passengers to arrive two hours before the scheduled departure time to leave plenty of time for check-in and boarding.

Canarian Airways reserves the right to refuse to check late passengers in.
