The carrier's main shareholder is Libya's Bank of Commerce and Development. The airline launched in 2021 with a weekly Benghazi to Tripoli service. The airline also hopes to extend its route network in the near future to include flights to destinations including Alexandria, Amman, Istanbul and Tunis.
