About Avian Líneas Aéreas
Avian Líneas Aéreas was a regional airline based in Argentina and is a new subsidiary of Avianca Argentina. The airline was branded as Avianca Argentina under a license agreement.
Avian Líneas Aéreas was founded in March 2016 as Macair Jet and was later rebranded to its current form. The airline commenced operations on behalf of Avianca Argentina in 2017 using ATR 72-600 aircraft.
The Argentinian airline passed the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) in June 2017.
In April 2019, Avianca Argentina previously known as Avian Líneas Aéreas, was reported to be having difficulties so it had to cut its route network to only 2 destinations. In June 2019, Avian Líneas Aéreas asked for a 90-day suspension of operations but the airline later decided to cease all of its operations.
As of 2021, Avian Líneas Aéreas is planning to restart operations at some point.

Avian Líneas Aéreas allowed passengers to bring 1 piece of carry-on baggage, with a maximum size of 115cm (55 x 35 x 25cm). On domestic flights carry-on baggage couldn't weigh more than 5kg and on international flights, carry-on baggage couldn't weigh more than 10kg.
Avian Líneas Aéreas also allowed passengers to bring one personal item such as a jacket, walking stick etc.
Checked Baggage
Avian Líneas Aéreas had different baggage allowances depending on the destination to which they were travelling to.
On domestic flights checked baggage couldn't weigh more than 15kg.
On international flights checked baggage couldn't weigh more than 15kg.
Infants were not entitled to any baggage allowance.
