Ariella Airlines (also referred to as Fly Ariella) was founded in 2012 and is a start-up scheduled passenger airline based in Burkina Faso, a country in West Africa.
When it launched, the airline announced plans to operate scheduled services from Burkina Faso to other neighbouring countries in West Africa, as well as to Paris’ Charles de Gaulle airport (CDG).
Ariella Airlines will be the second operator based in Burkina Faso, following Air Burkina.

The airline’s short-term plans are to begin by providing at least twice daily flights between Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso, and Bobo Dioulasso, a major city and the country’s commercial hub.
Ariella Airlines also hopes to add a weekly service from Ouagadougou to Lomé (in Togo) and Libreville (Gabon), as well as flights from Ouagadougou (via Marseilles) to Paris’ Charles de Gaulle.
In the future, the airline hopes to expand further into West Africa, as well as Central and South America, Europe, the Middle East and the United States.
Air Burkina is the only carrier to currently operate domestic flights. For flights to the country, international airlines that fly to Ouagadougou include: Air Algérie, Air Côte d'Ivoire, Air France, Air Senegal, Ethiopian Airlines, Royal Air Maroc, Tunisair, Turkish Airlines, and ASKY Airlines.

The airline will be based at Bobo Dioulasso (BOY) is an international airport located near Bobo Dioulasso. Air Burkina is currently the only airline to provide commercial passenger flights, operating a scheduled service to Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso, and to the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast).
The startup plans on using narrow body McDonnell Douglas and Boeing aircraft, which will be on lease from Spanish carrier, IMD Airways.
