Amapola Flyg is a domestic airline based in Stockholm, Sweden. The airline has its main base at Stockholm-Arlanda Airport, from which it flies to a number of cities and towns across Sweden. The company was founded in 2003 and is owned by a Swedish investment organisation.
As well as operating a scheduled flight service, the airline also operates an airmail network and operates cargo flights for Post Nord, with plans to further expand its cargo operations.
Amapola Flyg has a different baggage policy for carry-on and checked baggage policy.
Passengers will need to be able to place their carry-on baggage beneath the seat in front of them. The maximum dimensions are L45xW20xH35 cm, and bags must not weigh more than 8 kg.
On the Fokker50: The maximum weight per customer’s checked baggage is 23 kg.
On the Jetstream32: The maximum weight per customer’s checked baggage is 20 kg.
Customers who want to add extra checked baggage can do so, in addition to their free baggage included in the ticket. This can be added to your booking at a cost of 250 SEK (£21.66 Pound Sterling) per bag, one way.
There is only one cabin class available: Standard Economy.
On the Fokker 50: The Fokker 50 is used for longer flights and can seat up to 50 passengers. The Fokker50 aircraft is operated on the following routes: Vilhelmina-Arlanda, Lycksele-Arlanda, Hemavan-Arlanda, Kramfors-Arlanda, Bromma-Visby, Bromma-Malmö, Bromma-Göteborg, Bromma-Halmstad, Bromma-Ängelholm, Arlanda-Sundsvall, and Arlanda-Örnsköldsvik.
On the Jetstream32: The Jetstream32 is a popular turbo-prop aircraft that can seat 19 passengers. The aircraft has a pressure cabin and facilities include a toilet. The Jetstream32 aircraft is operated on the following routes: Hagfors/Torsby - Arlanda.
Amapola Flyg passengers must check in at the airport since the airline doesn't offer online check-in.
Online check-in is not currently available.
Check-in opens 60 minutes before departure and closes 30 minutes before departure.
On the Fokker 50: Depending on the time of the flight, a breakfast snack, or ‘gofika’, is served, along with a drink.
On the Jetstream32: Due to the flight time being very short for journeys flown using this aircraft, the airline does not offer any meals or beverages on board. At most airports, there is an opportunity to purchase food before flying, including breakfast, snacks, and drinks.
The airline does not currently offer a frequent flyer program.
The airline is not currently part of an airline alliance program.

Passengers are able to bring their own wheelchairs, although the airline asks that you specify the type of wheelchair, as well as the dimensions. Of course, there is no extra fee to bring a wheelchair. Wheelchairs accepted for transport on the plane will be unsuitable if they exceed the following dimensions: Length: 170 cm, Width: 85 cm, Height: 80 cm.
Flying with pets is permitted. Permission to bring a pet into either the cabin or cargo hold must be requested in advance. Animals must be kept in a container that must not exceed the dimensions of: L45xW35xH20 cm. The animal and the cage must not exceed the weight of 8 kg.
There is no entertainment system, but passengers are welcome to bring their personal digital devices with them onto the plane.
For scheduled flights, the airline flies exclusively within Sweden, operating an extensive domestic network. Destinations include Stockholm, Gothenburg, Halmstad, and Torsby.
