Amal Airlines is a charter airline operating flights within Malaysia and to destinations in Southeast Asia. It is a subsidiary of Mayalsia Airlines, the flag carrier airline of Malaysia.
Amal focuses on serving the needs of the Muslim pilgramage market. It does this by offering flights to Jeddah and Medina during the Hajj season.
The airline was established in 2018 and operates its flights with a fleet of Aribus A320 aircraft.
Baggage Policy
Carry-on and checked baggage is permitted on flights with Amal Airlines.
Carry-on Baggage
Passengers are permitted one piece of carry-on baggage on board. This cannot weigh more than 7kg and must not exceed the dimensions of 55 x 40 x 20cm.
One personal item is also allowed per passenger. This can include a laptop bag, handbag or small backpack and needs to be able to fit underneat the seat infront.
Checked Baggage
Depending on your route and fare type, checked baggage rules with Amal Airlines will vary.
Passengers are permitted one piece of checked baggage weighing no more than 20-30kg (depending on destination).
Cabin Classes
All seats in Amal Airlines' cabin are configured to an economy-class layout.
The in-flight experience in Amal's economy class is comfortable and hassle-free. Ample legroom is provided.
In-flight Entertainment & WIFI
Amal Airlines is a charter airline with only one cabin class therefore it doesn't offer any forms of in-flight entertainment.
Passengers should bring their own forms of entertainment on board such as books or portable devices. The airline does provide reading materials and blankets to ensure a comfortable journey.
Food & Drink
Amal Airlines operates flights for the Muslim pilgramage community therefore it offers a range of halal meals on board including vegetarian, non-vegetarian and diabetic options.

Kuala Lumpur International Airport is the primary international airport of Malaysia and is located in Sepang, 28 miles away from the Kuala Lumpur city centre. The airport is one of the busiest in Southeast Asia and is the main hub for Malaysia Airlines, AirAsia and Malindo Air.
The airport has 2 terminals used for both domestic and international flights. There are many facilities in both terminals including shops, restaurants, duty-free shops, a currency exchange, ATMs, lounges and prayer rooms.
